Delivery

Delivery Details

  • CityNews Wine Club packages will be sent out from the winery in the fourth week of each month. All shipments are sold and shipped directly by the participating winery.
  • Participating wineries work with Canada Post and third-party couriers. Wineries may choose to ship by alternate carriers at their discretion. If you prefer Canada Post over couriers, please contact us to request Canada Post shipping each month.
  • CityNews Wine Club shipments can be delivered to your home or office as long as they are received and signed for by an individual at least 19 years of age.

Delivery Attempts

Different carriers implement different protocols if you are unavailable when they try to deliver your package.

Canada Post will usually leave a delivery notice with the time of attempted delivery and the address of a nearby postal depot where you can pick up your package.

Please help to alleviate delivery issues by ensuring somebody will be home to receive the package or by having it delivered to your place of work. Business addresses are strongly recommended to avoid delivery issues.

Government Regulations

Alcohol can only be delivered to an individual who is of the legal drinking age in Ontario, which is 19 years of age, and who is not intoxicated. In order to confirm this, the delivery agent may require that you present government-issued identification proving your identity and age.
